どこからやって来る？この喜びは。カテゴリーが低かろうとも、地元のクラブを応援する至福の時間。 The bliss of supporting a local club, even if it is in a lower category. Where does this joy come from?

朝、起きたら珍しい人からラインが届いてまして。
一昨日（2023年6月7日）の夕方キックオフの天皇杯2回戦 サンフレッチェ広島 対 FC徳島のことについて書かれていました。

お久しぶりです！お元気でしょうか。
子どもの成長のおかげで最近手持ちぶさになったのか、キョロキョロしていたら、
いつもまにか福山シティFCの大ファンになってしまいました（╹◡╹）。
田中さんがサンフレ推しと、もちろん知ってまして、なんとなく気持ちがすこーしわかり始めた今日この頃。
昨夜、惜しくも福山が対戦できなかった天皇杯二回戦を見届けに参りまして、サンフレの強さと、サポーターの応援に圧倒され帰ってきました。
サッカー、車、猫、
今まで興味のなかったものに惹かれ、
生きています。
年を重ねるって面白いですね。

この方は、ずっと音楽をやっていらっしゃった方で、おそらくサッカーとは無縁な人生を送られてきたのだと思うのですが、
ひょんなことから福山シティFCに恋をしてしまったのだと思います。
それはとても素敵なこと。人生にもう一つ、楽しい時間が加わったのだと思うのです。

わが友人や家族が走る徒競走の方が、オリンピックの100メートル決勝より入れ込んでしまいますよね

福山シティFCのカテゴリーは、中国サッカーリーグ。中国地方のリーグなのです。
一応J5に相当する。

「そんな下位のクラブ応援して何が面白いの？」と首を傾げる人もいるだろう。
私は圧倒的なサンフレッチェ広島の推しだけど「Ｊリーグ？ ヨーロッパのリーグよりレベルが落ちるよね？ 何が面白いの？」と聞かれたこともある。
まあ、その感覚もわからないことはない。でも、そのように言われた時は、私は次のように答えることにしている。
「オリンピックの100メートル決勝のチケットが無料で手に入った。そしてその日は自分の子どもの運動会。徒競走の時間。どちらに行く？どちらに思い込みがある？」

技術が高い方が面白いかもしれない。
でもサッカークラブを応援するというのは、それだけじゃない何かがあるんですよ。
とはいえ、先ほどワシが例に出した「家族」というのでもなければ「学校」や「会社」でもないんですよね。
では、スターバックスが目指すところの「第３の場所」なのか？というとそれもちょっと違うのです。

失われた地縁を蘇らす仕組み。それがＪリーグ100年構想なのだと思う

日本には血縁社会はなく、（この辺りは宮台真司さんの言説によってるところ大です）。かつては地縁社会があり血縁主義と同じ機能をしていました。
故郷で育てられて、都に上がり、そこで成功し、地縁に恩を返す。故郷に錦を飾る、というやつです。
でも、戦後近代化が進み、高度経済成長やテック化が進む中で、地縁が薄れてきた。そして日本人はバラバラになってしまった。

つまり恩返しの気持ちが人と人を繋ぎ、仲間になり、そこで生きる希望が湧いてきていたのです。あの大好きな仲間を助けるために、俺が、俺たちがなんとかするんだ、と。
自分のために何かをすること、よりも仲間のためになんとかするぞ、という利他のモチベーションはぶち強いのです。

地元のスポンサーとサポーターのために、クラブの戦士たちは戦うのです

今年、ニッパツスタジアムに足を運んで 既に2回ほど横浜FC 対 サンフレッチェ広島 のゲームを見たのですが、その時に一つ感じたことがあって、それは関東地方のサンフレッチェ広島サポがたくさん集まっているなあ、と。
ここからはあくまでも私の解釈なので、なんとも言えないのですが、
この場合、サンフレッチェ広島が地縁を復活させているのではないでしょうか？

今はもう、生まれて育った地域が、人を育てるということは無くなってしまった。地域の仲間のために何かやりたい、といった人はほとんどいない。さっきも書いたけど、地域の結びつきはもう瀕死状態だ。
「この地域のために、これを絶対にやり抜く」なんていっているのは、嘘つきですよ。政治家という名の。

でも、地域のサッカークラブの戦士たちは違う。
本当に心から、地域のために戦っている。
心から応援してくれるサポーターのために。活動費用を出してくれるスポンサーのために。そしてサッカーに興味はないし応援もしてくれないかもしれないけど、それでもその地域にご縁がある人のために。

多くの彼らは、最好きなお酒も飲まず、体に気を遣い、いざゲームになれば全身全霊で勝ちに行く。それは自分のためじゃない。地元の人たちのため。そのクラブに関わる人たちのために、つまりつまり、あなたのために戦っているのです。

だから、ワシらサポーターは応援するのです。そのクラブのカテゴリーがどれだけ低かろうと。
技術や強さだけじゃない。
家庭や学校でもない。
第３の場所でもない。
地元に関わるワシらとサッカークラブは、利他の関係。友情で結ばれているのです。
だから悔し涙も、喜びの涙も溢れてくるのです。
そして、既に失われてしまった地縁が少しずつ復活していくのです。
だからＪリーグは、地方創生のエンジンになるのです。（この辺りのことは、また書きますねーー）

ああ、幸せだなあ。

When I woke up in the morning, I received a line from an unusual person.
It was about the Emperor's Cup 2nd round match between Sanfrecce Hiroshima and FC Tokushima, which kicked off in the evening the day before yesterday (June 7, 2023).

It has been a while! I hope you are well.
I was wondering if you have been scurrying around lately, as if you have been holding on to something thanks to the growth of your children,
I've become a big fan of Fukuyama City FC (╹◡╹).
Of course, I knew that Mr. Tanaka was a Sanfrecce fan, and now I'm beginning to understand his feelings a little.
Last night, I went to see the second round of the Emperor's Cup, which Fukuyama regrettably could not play in, and came back overwhelmed by Sanfrecce's strength and the supporters' support.
Soccer, cars, cats,
I am attracted to things I have never been interested in before,
I am living my life.
It's interesting to grow old, isn't it?

This person has been a musician all his life, and probably had nothing to do with soccer,
I think he fell in love with Fukuyama City FC by chance.
That is so wonderful. I think it adds another fun time to my life.

Sometimes I get more involved in the running of a race run by my friends and family than in the 100 meter Olympic finals.

Fukuyama City FC's category is the Chugoku Soccer League. It is a league in the Chugoku region.
It is equivalent to J5, in case you are wondering.

What's the fun in rooting for such a lowly club? I am a huge fan of Sanfrecce FC.
I am an overwhelming supporter of Sanfrecce Hiroshima, but I also think, "J-League? The level is lower than European leagues, isn't it? What's so interesting about it? I have been asked "What's so interesting about the J-League?
Well, I don't doubt that feeling. But when I am asked such a question, I try to answer in the following way.
I got free tickets to the 100-meter Olympic finals. And that day was my own child's field day. Time for the sprint race. Which way do you go? Which do you assume?"

The more technical might be more interesting.
But there is something more to supporting a soccer club than that.
However, it's not the "family" that Eagle used as an example earlier, nor is it a "school" or a "company".
So, is it the "third place" that Starbucks is aiming for? That is not quite the same thing.

It is a mechanism to revive lost ties. I think that is the J-League's 100-year plan.

In Japan, there is no blood relationship society (this is largely due to Mr. Shinji Miyadai's discourse). In the past, there was a geographical kinship society, which functioned in the same way as blood kinship.
A person was raised in his hometown, moved to the capital, became successful there, and repaid his debt to his hometown. It was a kind of "honoring one's hometown with a brocade.
But with postwar modernization, rapid economic growth, and tech-oriented society, the Local Relationships has faded away. And the Japanese people have become disconnected.

In other words, the feeling of giving back connected people to each other and made them friends, and that is where the hope to live came from. I thought, "I'm going to do something, we're going to do something to help those friends that I love.
The altruistic motivation to do something for my friends was stronger than doing something for myself.

The warriors of the club fight for the local sponsors and supporters.

I have been to Nippatsu Stadium twice this year to see the Yokohama FC-Sanfrecce Hiroshima game, and one thing that struck me was the large number of supporters of Sanfrecce Hiroshima from the Kanto region.
I can't say for sure, because this is just my interpretation,
In this case, I think Sanfrecce Hiroshima is reviving the local ties.

Nowadays, the community where I was born and raised no longer nurtures people. There are few people who want to do something for their friends in the community. As I mentioned earlier, community ties are dying.
Those who say, "I'm going to do this for the community, I'm going to make it work," are liars. It's called being a politician.

But the local soccer club warriors are different.
They are truly fighting for the community with all their hearts.
For the supporters who cheer them on wholeheartedly. For the sponsors who pay for their activities. And for those who may not be interested in soccer and may not support the club, but still have a connection to the community.

Many of them don't even drink alcohol, which is their favorite drink, and they take care of their bodies, but when it comes to the game, they go all out to win. It's not for themselves. It is for the local people. They are fighting for the people involved in that club, in other words, they are fighting for you.

That is why we, the supporters, cheer for them. No matter how low the category of that club is.
It's not just about skill or strength.
It's not about home or school.
It is not a third place.
We are involved in the local community and the soccer clubs are altruistic. We are bound by friendship.
That is why tears of frustration and tears of joy flow.
And the local ties that have already been lost are gradually being restored.
That is why the J-League is an engine for local development. (I will write more about this in the future...)

Oh, I am so happy.
