I would like to make a suggestion to Coach Jofuku. We can definitely make it to the top. A creative director's take on the second half of the season

The first half of the season has come to an end for Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
Six wins, eight minutes and five losses in 19 games.
It's a delicate number.
But it's not that bad, considering that we had 17 straight hellish games out of 19.

I'd like to see the J-League explain what 17 games in a row means, and I'd also like to see the clubs explain why they accepted such terrible conditions. But that's not what I want to talk about today.
I want to think about how we can get back on track in the second half of the season. That's what I want to think about.
But I'm not a soccer expert, so I'd like to think of a different strategy for getting back on track and give it to Jofuku (from the top down😅).

A strategy from an advertising agency's creative director

This is a big change of subject.
My job is to be a creative director. My job is to direct the entire process of any kind of expressive activity. From my experience, I can tell you that no matter what you do, the concept is important. By creating a concept that is easy to understand and appealing, a product will sell, and a soccer club team will become stronger. Seriously, I believe that a concept alone can make a big difference, and in fact, I have had such experiences many times.

For example, as of today (2021/06/05), the top three teams in J-League Category 1 are
No. 1: Kawasaki Frontale
No. 2: Nagoya Grampus
3rd: Yokohama F. Marinos
I dared to make a concept copy for these three clubs (normally, a concept should be based on the current status of the members, the soccer required, the coach's way of thinking, and all other factors in mind, but this time, I made a concept copy based on the current wonderful status of each club). This time, however, I have created a concept based on the wonderful current situation of each club.

Kawasaki Frontale is
Kawasaki Frontale: "Score 3 or more goals and beat them.
Nagoya Grampus
Nagoya Grampus: "It's better to score, but don't give up goals.
Yokohama F. Marinos
Yokohama F. Marinos: "Score in every direction.

I think it's something like this.
The characteristics of each club are apparent and attractive. And above all, they seem to be able to win, don't they?

So, what about Sanfrecce Hiroshima?
The concept or slogan that I will examine this time is not "accumulation and attack," but "moving football," which is what coach Jofuku has been saying since he took office. This is because the coach's way of thinking comes out more directly.

If you compare the concept of moving football with the concept of the top three clubs (which I made up on my own 😅), you will see that it is weak. Jofuku's concept is too weak compared to the top three clubs.
It's a soccer where people and the ball move. It doesn't look like we're going to score. You can't win with this.
The concept of the top 3 clubs (I know it seems persistent, but I made it up myself 😅)
"Raise the fall by three points or more and beat the opponent.
It's better to score, but don't give up goals.
In moving football, points are not scored.
Moving football will not get you points.

So what should be the concept of Sanfrecce Hiroshima's soccer now?

My suggestion to Coach Jofuku: Sanfrecce Hiroshima's concept of soccer.

Let's be clear.
"Constantly evolve the back three and score points in a very interesting way.
That's it.

Who would be stupid enough to put tactics into a concept?
Sanfrecce Hiroshima is fine with that.
For the second half of the year, let's go with a back three.
Coach Jofuku should focus on this for the next month and refine the team.
I'm sure the players are thinking that the back three is the way to go. Hiroshima will be able to play more interesting soccer that way.
Why is that? I don't know, but I think it's like a gene.
Coach Jofuku, please master the back three in the second half. Then we will definitely qualify for the ACL.
